Seamlessly integrating any given outcome of European squabbles over 800 years into a canonical 1836 start date (as far as the rest of the world is concerned) was no easy task, and it's something we'll continue to work on and tweak in the foreseeable future.
#EUIV TO VIC2 CONVERTER 2019 FULL#
In this release, we expanded on that, bringing in full support for Voltaire's Nightmare saves. Last release, we brought in HPM Hybridization. #EUIV TO VIC2 CONVERTER 2019 UPDATE#
Songhai update countries now importable. Support for Voltaire's Nightmare reforms and effects. Disputed provinces are now assigned according to absolute dev, not weight. Industralization factors added to all tech groups which allow one to tweak them carefully. Fixed issues where out-of-scope provinces from VN were sometimes mangled. Fixes to prestige loops with austria, baltics and others. Fixes to liberal revolutions not firing, and other issues related from importing socialist governments - this won't be possible any more. States are now broken apart in a much less buggy way. Countries that don't survive conversions now don't always leave cores. Fixes to a plethora of unification events and chains. Fixed bug with incorrect import of institution count for tech purposes. Imported imperialist wars no longer annex entire country. Cultures in disputed border provinces mix organically. Conversions of games past year 2000 will no longer crash. That said, we're at the limit of what Vic2 can offer us and we're looking with great anticipation at Vic3 so that we may do so many things, so much better. This release has been in works for a while now, adding support for neo-neo-cultures (dynamic colonial divergences of already diverged dynamic EU4 cultures coming from CK3), a huge and extensive cleanup of scripts, flags, mappings and other assets, as well as all the fixes to issues that popped up in the last 4 months.
